King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, have arrived in Liverpool as the Royals unveil the staging for the Eurovision Song Contest.
With just days to go until the King's Coronation, Charles, 74, and Camilla, 75, were shown around the M&S Bank Arena and met Mae Muller, the UK’s contestant, as well as celebrity presenters and creative teams, ahead of the contest next month. The grand final of the competition is due to take place on May 13, a week after the coronation ceremony.
Camilla looked lovely in a royal blue coat dress which perfectly matched the hue of Charles' tie, which he paired with a white shirt and a navy suit.
The colour blue is often favoured by the royals these days – with senior members of the royal family coordinating in blue for the recent Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel. The pair chatted cordially with Mae and other people on the set of the upcoming show.
