Sheridan Smith's latest drama The Teacher are demanding a second season of the show ge after the final episode left many questions unanswered.The fourth instalment aired on Thursday (February 3) after a gripping run throughout the week that had fans hooked waiting to see who had set up tragic teacher Jenna Garvey.As scenes unfolded in the episode viewers learned that Jenna's colleague and friend Pauline was unwittingly in a relationship with a man who had been convicted of sexual assault due to his relationship with an underage pupil he had been teaching.It very quickly became obvious that Arnold was in fact the man behind the plot to set up Jenna as everything began falling into place.Upon visiting her old school Jenna found out that she had been classmates with the young woman Arnold had an affair with when she was just 15-years-old during a chat with the current head of the educational facility.She then received a package in the post that contained a letter Arnold had written naming her as the individual who had reported him for his relationship with his underage pupil.Elsewhere in the episode, Kyle was seen visiting Jenna to try and convince her he had acted alone in the plan to set her up, and she agreed to not report him to the police.However, Kyle was then heard calling Arnold to warn him Jenna was suspicious about his involvement.Jenna then received some texts she thought were from Pauline inviting her to meet her at a seemingly abandoned property.As viewers watched Jenna explore the abandoned building looking for Pauline it became clear she had been lured there by Arnold who appeared in the shadows holding a hammer.However, things didn't play out as expected and after a lengthy chat about how he believed he was.
