Centres to help those most at risk from coronavirus

Centres providing support for the most vulnerable members of society will be set up by Perth and Kinross Council.In an extensive letter to the people of Perth and Kinross, PKC chief executive Karen Reid (left) said the centres would provide food, medicine and other support for those who are being asked to self-isolate for 12 weeks.The chief executive also revealed she is talking daily with the Scottish Government, NHS and partner organisations and is confident she has “a strong team in place to manage the evolving situation”.She said: “Council colleagues, partner organisations and members of the public have all stepped up and shown themselves to be resilient, compassionate and dedicated: thank you.”Ms Reid urged locals to check social media
