An animal shelter is bracing itself for an influx of dumped pets when the lockdown forced on us by the coronavirus crisis finally comes to an end.
It comes after a rush on animal adoption in recent weeks, with over 500 dogs and cats adopted across New South Wales, Australia in the last fortnight alone.
RSPCA NSW say its adoption service has seen am 28 % increase compared to the same time last year and predict just like after Christmas, they will se many more dumped when the worst of the crisis is over.
