Captain Sir Tom Moore have flooded in after the national hero died on Tuesday.The 100-year-old war hero became a beacon of hope for many across the UK when he stepped out of his front door and walked 100 laps of his garden for the NHS.Captain Sir Tom had hoped to raise £1,000 but donations quickly surpassed that goal and his efforts topped more than £33million.Sadly, on February 2, 2021, weeks after Sir Tom had returned from a bucket list trip to Barbados, his daughters Hannah and Lisa announced he had passed away.
Many have since paid tribute to World War Two veteran, including TV host Piers Morgan, who called him a British national hero.
