Piers Morgan looked emotional as he stood at his front door to applaud Captain Sir Tom Moore last night. The war veteran, who raised millions for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic, tragically died this week at the age of 100 after catching Covid-19 in hospital.
In honour of what he did and the way he brought the country together, people were invited to take to the street at 6pm last night to Clap for Tom, just like they did for the NHS on a weekly basis in the first lockdown.
The Good Morning Britain host was joined at his front door by his daughter Elise, nine, as they put their hands together for Captain Tom.
