The Queen has led tributes to NHS fundraising hero Captain Sir Tom Moore after his death aged 100 from coronavirus. The nation is in mourning for the everyday hero, who has died in hospital after a brief battle with the virus and pneumonia.
The 100-year-old WW2 veteran and assed away with his family at his bedside at Bedford Hospital, where he had been since Sunday.
