Radio station Capital Xtra won't face any action after claims that one of its DJs was asking people to pay him £200 in order to play their songs on his show.

DJ Tiiny was accused of asking artists to send him cash in exchange for play on his weekly show. The DJ, who has toured with rapper Stormzy, was dismissed by the station after the allegations surfaced, but broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has said it will not be taking any action.

The DJ had previously apologised for his actions, saying he had learnt "a much-needed lesson". According to Ofcom rules, no commercial arrangement that involves payment to the broadcaster may influence the selection or rotation of music for broadcast.
