Buckingham Palace was 'unaware' of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby arrival until the announcement was made on social media, according to reports.
The royal couple welcomed their baby daughter named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor into the world on Friday, June 4 in California.
On Sunday afternoon UK time, the couple announced the news of their second child - with the sweet name a nod to The Queen and Princess Diana.
The Palace were reportedly not aware of that the baby had been born until the announcement was made at 5pm on social media last night, according to the Daily Mail.Officials have thus far declined to discuss when the Queen was told about the safe arrival of her 11th great-grandchild, who was named after her.
