The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress, who plays detective Rosa Diaz on the hit sitcom, has called on other actors in the industry to do their part as the US reels from the brutal death.
George, 46, was an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes as he told them, "I can't breathe".
Officer Derek Chauvin has since been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter and was sacked from his job, but three other cops caught in the same footage are yet to be charged with any offence.
