But now there is just two weeks left to apply for a mortgage, credit card or loan payment holiday.The scheme is to help lower income households who are struggling financially during the coronavirus pandemic.
National poverty charity Turn2us claim that one in three people have got into debt since the start of the virus. As a result, Brits have been offered payment holidays on credit, such as loans, mortgages and car finance deals.
However, borrowers have until March 31 to apply for one with all holidays ending by July 31. Payment breaks won't be reported on borrowers' credit files if they're taken as part of the coronavirus proposals.
