Brits have paid their respects on Remembrance Day, with some defying coronavirus restrictions to gather in public. Under current rules in England people can only leave their houses for specific reasons including work, education and healthcare.

But pictures emerged today showing that many people went out to mark Remembrance Day today, with some not wearing face masks.

In one video, a bagpiper was pushed over by police officers, prompting a scuffle. Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed since the end of the First World War in order to remember all those who fought and died in the line of duty.
