Britney Spears shares throwback video confidently leading dance rehearsals amid conservatorship: ‘Three months before my dad sent me to that place’
Britney Spears has shared a video of her leading a dance recital in 2018, which she claims was three months before her dad had her admitted to a mental health facility. The singer, 40, shared a clip of her leading a group of topless male dancers in a routine that she had choreographed, which is believed to be around the time she was on tour or rehearsing for her Las Vegas residency. She told her followers: ‘This is from 4 years ago… three months before my dad sent me to that place!!! ‘No lie… even though I taught this routine I messed up like crazy because there were new dancers that were way bigger than me and I got way too excited!!! ‘Psss on my break I guess it’s a good time to REFLECT.’Britney, who is pregnant with her third child, her first with fiancé Sam Asghari, 28, had spoken about the situation in her testimony in June 2021, while petitioning to get her conservatorship rule lifted after 13 years. Britney told the court at the time that she was ‘forced’ to tour in 2018, adding: ‘When I came off that tour, a new show in Las Vegas was supposed to take place. ‘I started rehearsing early, but it was hard because I’d been doing Vegas for four years and I needed a break in between. But no, I was told this is the timeline and this is how it’s going to go. ‘I rehearsed four days a week.
