Britney Spears has been released from her conservatorship after 13 years. The pop star, 39, has been under the tight control of her father and co-conservators since 2008.

It comes after Britney's lawyer Mathew Rosengart asked the judge to end the conservatorship without a medical evaluation. Judge Brenda terminated the conservatorship without requiring any further mental evaluation.
