UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards wants a revenge fight against Jorge Masvidal after he was punched outside of the ring in 2019.Edwards was walking with security backstage at London's O2 when American fighter Masvidal stopped an interview and punched the Brit several times before security could intervene.However, Evans has yet to have a revenge match despite continued bad blood between the pair.
While Jamaican-born Edwards is still fresh from his success of beating Kamaru Usman to win the welterweight title, Masvidal has lost his last three fights including a knock-out by Usman last year.Now Edwards has told The Jim Rome Show that he wants to fight Masvidal after the 'sucker punch' he received back in 2019.
