Brit branded 'hero' for graffitiing cash point with directions to free ATM

And, our hearts drop even further when we are faced with an ATM that charges to withdraw money.Not being local to an area or being in a hurry leaves many people biting the bullet and paying a couple of pounds to get their hands on their physical money.So when this concerned Brit came across a money withdrawal machine that charged, they decided to do something about it.

Armed with a black permanent marker pen, the vandal defaced the machine with the locations of the nearest free alternatives - and they've been hailed a hero for doing so.A snap of the graffiti-covered ATM were posted to Twitter account @nocontextbrits where they praised: “Thank you kind vandal.”Marked just underneath the card withdrawal point, the vandal directed people with arrows and the travel time to the alternative cash points.They shared that there was either a Tesco or Londis free cash machine only a few minutes away, helping others save money.The Robin Hood type has been overwhelmingly praised, despite having defaced the property.One person commented: “This is genius, they should do that to them all.”Another user praised: “Great community service/spirit.”While a third person claimed: “Doing God's work.”Someone else applauded: “Not all heroes wear capes!”And a fifth person remarked: “There is good people out there.” Get all the biggest Lifestyle news straight to your inbox.
