The new film Nightmare Alley, from director Guillermo del Toro, has plenty of star power with the likes of Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett leading its ensemble cast.But apparently all that star power wasn't enough to inspire moviegoers to go to the cinema, as theneo-noir psychological thriller ended up flopping at the box office, earning just over $3 million while being played in2,145 theaters.And it turns out ticket sales for Nightmare Alley were so low at some theaters that showings ended up getting pulled and replaced by Spider-Man: No Way Home, according to TMZ.
