Jones, who has held multiple world championships at four different weights, makes his return to the ring aged 51 against former undisputed heavyweight king Tyson, who is three years his senior.
The two are each set to make $10million (£7.4m) from the fight at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California, which will take place in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.
Jones Jr currently has $5m (£3.8m) to his name, according to Celebrity Net Worth - so his bank balance will be three times fatter by the end of the fight.
