Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr split opinion with the judges during their heavyweight exhibition bout. The fight was scored a draw after eight two-minute rounds despite Tyson appearing to dominate his younger opponent.
Three former world champions scored the bout with Christy Martin giving Tyson the nod 79-73, Vinny Pazienza opted for Jones by a score of 80-76 while Chad Dawson scored it level at 76-76.
Tyson had not fought since he retired on his stool against Kevin McBride in 2005. He had piled on the pounds as he battled a drug addiction but has turned his life around and lost 100lb while preparing for his return.
Jones had continued to fight in the paid ranks until 2018 but the former four-weight world champion struggled to land a glove on
