The 24-year-old central defender played 23 times in all competitions during Bolton's League Two automatic promotion winning campaign.
For much of the first half of the season, Delaney was an ever-present in the Wanderers team, mostly in a back three alongside the likes of Ricardo Almeida Santos and Alex Baptiste.
