A 10-year-old boy has died following an "incident" at Loch Lubnaig yesterday evening.Fire crews and police raced to the scene near Callander after initial reports of a boy getting into difficulty on the water.But after a long search, police confirmed that the boy had sadly died and that there were no suspicious circumstances accompanying his death.A police spokesperson told our sister paper, the Daily Record: "A 10-year-old boy has died following an incident in Loch Lubnaig, near Callander, on Wednesday, 24 June, 2020."Emergency services were called around 5:35pm to reports of a child experiencing difficulty in the water.
