They said: "The dog lives with her and her son. You often saw it being walked down the street."I believe there had been issues in the past and the police had been involved."The dog is not a banned breed but they can grow to be very big.
It was "humanely destroyed" after the shocking incident which happened on Thursday afternoon, according to West Midlands Police.
