Snow is set to batter Scotland in a week-long spell of wintry weather after multiple warnings were put in place. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning from Tuesday until Sunday as six days of snow and ice are expected across the country.
The Highlands & Eilean Siar will be most affected today, with snowfall expected until midnight bringing travel delays, power cuts and increased risk of slips and falls.
Central, Tayside and Fife, Grampian, South-west Scotland, Lothian Borders and Strathclyde will also be hit with snow, ice and sleet.
