Blantyre-based youth project Hyper Cyber celebrated the completion of their refurbished premises.The space, on High Blantyre Main Street, has undergone a transformation, making it bigger and brighter for the town’s youths.Included is a new chill out area, arts and crafts table, a games space and educational room where service users can work towards their Hi-Five Dynamic awards and bronze Youth Achievement awards.And the new space will also allow staff and volunteers to run Easter and summer programs.
The open day was very well attended by the town’s youths, with MP Margaret Ferrier and Councillors Maureen Chalmers and Bert Thomson also joining in with the celebrations.
