And in doing so the Frenchman overtook legendary striker Raul in the all-time scoring charts for Los Blancos. However, any hopes of overtaking the Portuguese megastar in the near future are thin for Benzema.

The Frenchman still has to find the net 127 times to overtake Ronaldo in the standings with the Manchester United forward on 450 goals.
