Manchester United are considering a move to sign Brighton defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo during the ongoing transfer window - according to reports.
Despite bringing in Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom were unable to recruit in the engine room and it has been a priority for the club ever since.
They last signed a player in that position in 2018. United initially wanted Declan Rice and subsequently turned their attentions to Frenkie de Jong when Erik ten Hag was appointed as manager.
