Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

BBC to air sets from Billie Eilish and Foo Fighters on weekend of cancelled Reading and Leeds festival

metro.co.ukwith organisers assuring festival-goers in March that there were no plans to cancel. As the situation grew worse and lockdown restrictions extended, Reading and Leeds was ultimately cancelled for 2020 and will no longer go ahead on the last weekend of August.
But, fans will still get to see some of their favourites in action at the much-loved festival, as BBC has confirmed plans to dig into the festival’s archives and broadcast epic sets from previous performers.
Between August 28 and 30, when Reading and Leeds was due to go ahead, fans can tune into BBC where sets from the likes of Billie Eilish, The 1975 and Foo Fighters will be shown.
