Bayern Munich have offered Manchester City just €40m (£34.85m) for the signing of Leroy Sane. It comes after news broke that the Bundesliga champions had agreed a five-year contract with the Germany international.
Sane has long been linked with a move back to his homeland and was set to be the centre of a transfer saga last summer. However, in the closing days of the summer market, he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury that has ruled him out for the entire season.
It means Bayern went for Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan on loan instead. But they are set to make another raid in the next transfer window and according to Sport Bild have already agreed terms with the City star.
