Manchester City's relationship with Bayern Munich is said to have broken down over how the German club have conducted themselves in their public pursuit of Leroy Sane.
The Bundesliga giants are still keen on a deal for City's German forward, and are hoping that the short time left on his deal will save them money in the market.
Reports in Germany said Bayern have already reached an agreement over personal terms with Sane for a five-year contract if they can convince City to sell the 24-year-old.
It was also reported that Bayern are hopeful of snaring Sane for a fee as low as £35million but the MEN understands City have no intention of selling him for that amount and would rather keep him at the club for another year and continue
