Irish eyes are smiling today as a number of Irish stars and productions have been nominated for a BAFTA at this year’s ceremony.
Cartoon Saloon continues its successful run with Wolfwalkers earning a nod for Best Animated film. It faces off against two animated juggernauts though with both Disney’s Onward and Soul also nominated.
This bodes well for the film’s Oscar hopes as it was also nominated for a Golden Globe award last month. Calm With Horses has been nominated for a total of four nominations with Irish stars Niamh Algar and Barry Keoghan earning nods for Best Supporting Actress and Actor.
