Aston Villa 's chief executive Christian Purslow has slammed proposals to play the remainder of the Premier League campaign at neutral venues because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Purslow outlined his opposition to the idea in an appearance on talkSPORT, claiming that fellow relegation threatened clubs will also reject "a bunch of rule changes which may increase chances of relegation and a £200million catastrophe." "We have six home games to play and giving up that advantage is a massive decision for someone running Aston Villa", Purslow said. "Neutral grounds is one suggestion and personally I am against it.
