Asda pilots a new eco-friendly initiative. From Monday (September 7), the supermarket will no longer offer plastic bags for fruit and veg in some stores in a bid to reduce waste.
Instead, customers will have to provide their own, or pay for a recyclable 'Veggio' bag, made from recycled plastic bottles.
