Nicolas Pepe can improve under Mikel Arteta next season. That is the view of former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson, who has backed the 24-year-old to recapture the form that caught the interest of the Premier League outfit ahead of last summer’s transfer window.
The left-footed forward has shown glimpses of his talent since moving to the Emirates for a club record £72m, but failed to put together a consistent run of good form under either Unai Emery or Arteta.
Robson believes that it is too early to consider Pepe a flop, stating that he could be reborn next season in what will be Arteta’s first full season as a manager.
