Arsenal's chances of landing Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes this summer have been dented by news that the French club are set to be hit with sanctions for breaching Financial Fair Play rules.The Gunners reportedly made contact over an £18m move for the 22-year-old Brazilian earlier this week, while ESPN reported that he himself wanted a switch to North London.Arsenal fans whipped themselves into a frenzy that a transfer was imminent when news broke that Magalhaes had been left out of the Lille squad for a friendly on Saturday.The fact that his squad number had been re-allocated seemed to indicate that a deal had perhaps already been brokered with the Emirates outfit.But that news has since been tempered by the fact that the Ligue 1 outfit.
