Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.
Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.
Arsenal are leading the race to land Celtic star Odsonne Edouard in the transfer market. Everton are also in for the Frenchman, who has been valued at £25m.
Mikel Arteta is plotting an overhaul of his squad, starting with his attack with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette set to be axed.
Both strikers have been linked with moves away with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid interested. And Arteta has already lined up a replacement in the shape of Celtic ace Edouard.
The former Paris St-Germain striker has been in fine form for the Hoops this campaign. He leads Celtic's top scorers chart with 27 in all competitions with Neil Lennon's side 10 points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
