Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Neil Lennon.Soro has been singled out for praise by the Parkhead manager, having made a sharp start to the pre-season training.The 22-year-old is currently at Loughborough University with the rest of the squad building up for the 2020 campaign and Lennon revealed the African is integrating nicely into the set up.Soro had no chances to impress last term.

Having signed in January, he was settling into the club and finding his feet after signing from Israeli outfit Bnei Yehouda when Covid-19 shut down the game completely.Lennon reckons the benefits of a lengthy pre-season amongst the squad and time to get close to his colleagues is working wonders for the likes of him and Patryk Klimala.Ironically, it also took time at Bnei for Soro to shine.
