Arsenal finished off a disappointing season with a win to consign final day opponents Watford to relegation. The Gunners were three-up inside 33 minutes thanks to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brace either side of Kieran Tierney's first goal for the club.
Aubameyang had put Arsenal into the lead just five minutes in from the penalty spot after VAR awarded a foul by Craig Dawson on Alexandre Lacazette.
Soon after Arsenal's captain turned provider, setting up Kieran Tierney, whose deflected shot evaded Ben Foster in the Watford goal.
The Hornets' chances of staying in the top flight for a sixth successive season looked to have faded when Aubameyang doubled his tally with an overhead kick.
