Climate activists say they have deflated tyres on around 60 “luxury” vehicles parked in Glasgow in a bid to raise awareness of carbon emissions during COP26.
The group, calling themselves Tyred of SUVs, targeted the cars parked in the city’s West End in the early hours of Thursday.
The group deflated tyres of dozens of SUVs and placed satirical police fines on the cars' windscreens explaining their action, reports Glasgow Live.
No tyres were damaged in the action.A spokesperson for Tyred of SUVs said: "If 4x4 drivers were a nation, they'd be the 7th biggest polluters on the planet (Source: International Energy Agency).
