Archie Lyndhurst, 19, died from brain haemorrhage, mother confirms

CBBC star Archie Lyndhurst, the son of Only Fools and Horses actor Nicholas Lyndhurst, died in his sleep from a brain haemorrhage, his mother has confirmed.

Lucy Lyndhurst said a post-mortem exam showed that the 19-year-old aspiring actor died of natural causes, in his sleep from a brain haemorrhage caused by Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukaemia (ALL).

Archie’s family received the post-mortem news days before Christmas and his heartbroken mother Lucy chose to share the news with the public this week.

Taking to Instagram she opened up about the family grief saying ‘our world blew apart.’ A post shared by Lucy Lyndhurst (@lucy_lyndhurst) ‘This is not Leukaemia as we know it, the word Acute in medical terms means rapid,’ Lucy wrote.
