Anthony Mackie has landed another series role with Twisted Metal. Deadline is reporting that the 42-year-old actor is set to lead the series, based on the popular vehicular combat video game. Anthony is set to portray John Doe in the show, and the site states that insiders at “Sony TV and PlayStation Productions are extremely high on the package and a plan is in the works to take it to buyers soon.” “We’re thrilled to have Anthony Mackie on board.

His ability to blend comedy, action and drama is perfect for the Twisted world we’re creating,” Asad Qizilbash, head of PlayStation Productions, shared in a statement.
