Besides his horrifying behaviour against the now 21-year-old Angel - who has been left with life-changing injuries due to brain damage sustained from the attack -Bowskill, of Syston, and five others would break into victims' homes while they slept to nick the keys of their luxury cars.The gang reportedly burgled 41 homes in Loughborough, Leicester, targeting homes in towns and villages across the county and wider region.
The vehicles they stole including upmarket SUVs, an £80,000 Audi SQ7, a £75,000 Mercedes C63s as well as BMWs, a Range Rover and VWs, all of worth a total of a staggering £1,153,500.Members of the gang - including Bowskill- have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglaries, which took place between June and October, 2019.
Bowskill had already been convicted by a jury in January for kidnapping Angel in 2020 as well as for 'coercive and controlling behaviour' towards her.Originally sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail for his ruthless attack on his then-girlfriend, Bowskill's sentence was referred to London's High Court for an 'unduly lenient' review.
