Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is sorry for the online abuse Karen Carney has suffered. The former England Women’s international was a pundit on Amazon Prime Sport for Leeds’ game at West Brom on Tuesday night.The newly-promoted Yorkshire side thumped the Baggies 5-0, showing they are more than able to cope with the demands of the Premier League.Marcelo Bielsa’s side sit 11th in the table, but it was comments made around last season that have made the headlines with Leeds on Wednesday.Carney suggested in her analysis that Leeds would have failed to gain promotion to the Premier League if football wasn’t put on hold for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.The ex-Lionesses star believes Bielsa’s men would have run out of steam.
