Jose Mourinho agreed a plan to stop Eden Hazard whenever Manchester United took on Chelsea.The Spanish midfielder enjoyed some of the best football of his career under Mourinho during his time at United.Some of his most memorable displays saw him man-mark Hazard out of the game whenever United did battle with Chelsea.One game in 2017 saw Herrera score and assist in a 2-0 win over Antonio Conte’s Chelsea with Hazard kept quiet.And Herrera has now revealed it was part of Mourinho’s gameplan to nullify the threat of the Belgian winger.“Jose and I both knew Hazard was the best player, by far, in the Premier League at the time, so if we wanted to win that game, we needed him not to touch the ball, or at least as little as possible,” Herrera told.
