Cinemas, saunas and indoor pubs are just some of the businesses that can reopen from next month under plans to ease lockdown.
These places will be able to reopen from May 17 at the earliest providing coronavirus cases stay under control and the vaccine programme remains on track.
The government allowed non-essential shops, hairdressers, salons and gyms to welcome back customers on April 12. Other businesses that reopened include pubs and restaurants, but only for outdoor dining.
Holidays in England are also now allowed – but only in self-catered accommodation. But what will be allowed to reopen from May 17 if the roadmap stays on schedule?
