Meghan Markle to publish children's book next month about a dad and son's relationship

Meghan Markle has written a children's book titled "The Bench" which will be published next month. It centres on the special relationship between a father and son as seen through the mother's eyes, publisher Random House said on Tuesday. "The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born,'' Meghan said in a statement. "That poem became this story." She added: "My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine.” Meghan and husband Prince Harry are expecting another child in the United States, where they live with their son.
