The three men charged with the murder of Ahmaud Arbery have all been found guilty. Greg McMichael, 67, his son Travis McMichael, 35, and neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan, 52, were found guilty for the murder on Wednesday (November 24).
According to the defense, they believed Ahmaud, a Black jogger, matched the description of a burglar in the neighborhood, and pursued him in pickup trucks before a physical struggle, fatally shooting him on February 23, 2020.
Prosecutors alleged the suspects pursued him with two firearms after they saw him running, and that Travis fatally shot him in a struggle over Travis‘ shotgun.
