The ITV host was due back on the show following a summer break on Bank Holiday Monday alongside Rochelle Humes. But at the eleventh hour, Alison had to pull out of the show due to illness and Eamonn Holmes stepped in.
Speaking at the start of yesterday's show, the 61-year-old said: "Well it was supposed to be Alison and Rochelle today but Alison isn’t well so get well soon Alison.
