Alex Beresford subjected to Ofcom complaints for 'taking Piers Morgan's seat'

Alex Beresford has been the subject of a flurry of complaints to TV watchdog Ofcom after he sat in for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain following Piers' dramatic exit.

Alex presented the ITV breakfast show alongside Kate Garraway last week and some viewers were upset after they blame Alex for Piers walking out on the show.

Piers, 55, quit after clashing with Alex, 40, following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Piers has been an outspoken critic of the Duchess of Sussex and after ranting about her allegations live on air, Alex had questioned his language, hinting that it bordered on racism.
