Dominic Raab, the Foreign Secretary, in front of MPs today where he will come under strong criticism for leaving behind both British nationals and Afghans who helped the UK.
Raab will come under fire for his complacent response to the fall of Kabul which happened while he was on holiday on Crete.But Raab will arrive at the special meeting of the Commons Foreign Affairs Committee with news that Britain will send 15 special-trained crisis response staff to Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan within the next 48 hours to facilitate those who are entitled to enter the UK under the relocation policy.The UK had managed to get 15,500 people out of the country over a 14-day period but hundreds of UK citizens and thousands of Afghans remain.
