ADELE was overcome with emotion as she dedicated her third Brit Award of the night to her son Angelo and ex-husband Simon Konecki.
As she picked up the Album of the Year gong for her record 30, Adele became tearful and said the album belonged to them all.
She said: "I'd like to dedicate this album to my son and Simon, his dad. This album was all of our journeys, not just mine. My son has been so kind and gracious and patient with me over the last couple of years." Adele's split from charity boss Simon was the main inspiration for her number one album.
She previously said of the record: "I've painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it. Home is where the heart is x” And tonight she also singled out her producer InFlo, real name Dean Josiah Cover, for praise, adding: "Someone who was absolutely integral to this album was producer of the year, his name is Inflo.
